The Catalan Ministry of Health, TicSalut, EU Renewing Health, Continua Health Alliance and the GSMA invite you to come and hear from leading global experts about how mobile health solutions are being applied and the challenges being faced in the public healthcare system. This unique opportunity to see mobile health in action will take place at the Hospital Del Mar, on the waterfront of Barcelona. Here you will witness live demonstrations of mobile health solutions and learn about the experiences of the healthcare professionals deploying them.

Joan Guanyabens, Chief Executive Officer, Catalan Agency for Health Information, Assessment and Quality Coordinator of ICT Strategy in Healthcare, will provide a first-hand account of Catalonia, a public healthcare system serving 7.5 million inhabitants. The region has worked with mobile health solutions since 2007.
Guanyabens will discuss how Catalonia was made fit for mobile health, and what challenges were addressed along the way. You will then be presented with live case studies from Germany and Greece. In each the solutions were driven by care providers defining their needs and going to the marketplace for available solutions.
